Joseph Levi Smith, 78, 515 S. Walnut, died Monday at home.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 am Thursday in the Magnolia Memorial Gardens, Bristow, with the Rev. Lynn Wood officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

He was born June 17, 1913, in Pittsburg, Kans., and married Margaret McKibbon Aug 27, 1958, in Chandler. They moved from Sapulpa to Broken Arrow in 1958. He retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1970 as an assistant foreman and was a member of the Tulsa Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife Margaret; son David Smith of Diamond Bar, Calif.; daughter Roma Jones of Kellyville; sisters Ruth Brown of Cherryville, Kans. and Ruby Miller of Kingman, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will be headquartered at the home.
