Elmer Leonard Welch, 90, Bristow, died Monday, Aug 28, 1995 in Tulsa.

Graveside services were held at Bristow City Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Gemmill officiating, directed by Schumacher Funeral Home.

He was born Sep 28, 1904 in Coos Bay, Oregon.

He married his wife Reta June 22, 1974 in Bristow. They moved to Bristow from Hinton five years ago. He was of the Advent Christian faith.

Survivors include his wife, Reta, of the home; a stepson, Bill Cramer, Claremore; a brother, Lester Welch, Checotah; two sisters, Maggie Wadley, Tulsa, and Goldia Hutchings, Bristow; two grandsons, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
