Joe Robert Williams, 70, 706 E. Thompson, died Tuesday at Bartlett Medical Center.
Services are set for 10:30 am Friday at Owen Funeral Chapel with Russell Casey officiating.
Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial
Gardens.
Casket bearers will be Dewayne Hellard, Clifton Tucker, Tom Lucas, Bill Spitler, Henry Spitler and Buck Hupman. Honorary bearers will be Danny Buchanan, Don McGuire and Virgil Hiett.
He was born July 4, 1919, in Sapulpa. Mr. Williams was a U.S. Army and Navy veteran of World War II.
He moved to Sapulpa 50 years ago from Kentucky and was a truck driver for Anchor Concrete Company in Sapulpa before retiring in 1985.
Mr. Williams married Virginia Johnisee on Nov. 28, 1946, in Columbus, Kan. He was a member of the Southside Christian Church, the Masonic Lodge, the Odd Fellows Lodge and former owner of the H&H Cab Company and the Sapulpa Bus Station fort many years.
