Talbot Library working library that specializing in, Cherokee Territory, Northeastern Oklahoma with a large collection on Delaware Co., and Northwestern Arkansas research information and materials.

The museum contains historical artifacts, ranging from arrowhead collections, to Old Cherokee maps, and letters, antique dishes, a spinning wheel, antique school items, and kitchen items, military artifacts. A display of prominent men of the Colcord area; Dr. Linam's, his medical equipment and  Charles F. Colcord, whom the town is named after and was a early day Oklahoma Marshall and oilman. (Charles F. Colcord had a ranch in the area of Colcord)

The grounds include a Blacksmith shop, Post Office building containing the original Row-Colcord Post Office boxes and the Adair Building containing large farm machinery.
