The Delaware County Historical Society established its first museum in 1983. The museum was moved to its present location in 1988 and was renamed the Marie Wallace Museum. The museum collection includes many antiques and artifacts of Delaware County.
The museum gift shop is stocked with foodstuff, novelty items, and books about Oklahoma history, genealogy, and the Cherokee Nation.
