Stratford

See the McGee site for some history on Stratford.  McGee was moved and Stratford was created when the
railroad was built and did not come through the existing town of McGee.

Stratford is famous for it peach groves and there is an annual peach festival held there.

Above is the old First National Bank building and a view of the old Stratford water tower.

The picture on the left shows a small park and memorial to the Ozark Trail which is situated between buildings in
historic downtown Stratford.  On the right you have the Chamber of Commerce as it is on June 15, 2001.

On the left you have a view the south side of the street looking west and on the right you have the north side of the street looking east.  They have flower pots on the sidewalks along with wrought iron benches for people to sit and rest or pass
the time.
