This is the record of Bartholomew Helterbrand and wife Anna Richardson. All births listed were in Jefferson County, Missouri. The progenitor of the Hildebrand family in Missouri, John Hildebrand (who came to Missouri about 1774 from Pennsylvania) was the grandfather or great-grandfather of Bartholomew Helterbrand. Anna Richardson was the daughter of Absalom Richardson, another early pioneer of Jefferson County, Missouri.
