The Harmon County Historical Museum was established in 1987.
It is a Non-Profit Organization. All donations are tax deductible.
The Black-eyed Pea Festival proceeds, along with dues and donations provide operating funds for the museum.
2007 The Black Eyed Pea Festival was an official 2007 Oklahoma Centennial Event

2009 date changed from August to October "Cotton Pickin' Festival"

Flag of the Great State of Oklahoma

THE HARMON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

PURPOSE: To maintain the Harmon County Historical Museum. To protect and preserve Harmon County history.
MEETINGS: General membership meets every fifth Monday.
Board of Directors meets monthly on the second Monday.
ELECTIONS: Officers elected every two years. Board members serve three year terms.
MEMBERSHIP PRIVILEGES: Members entitled to attend all regular and special events of the Society and Museum.
Members elect officers and other members of the Board of Directors.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES:
INDIVIDUAL....$10 ANNUAL
COUPLE........$15 ANNUAL

MEMORIALS: Donations given in memory of a loved one go toward the perpetual care of the Museum.
The society will send a card to the family, notifying them of your gift.
You receive a donation receipt for TAX purposes. The museum receives your ongoing support.

I study History not because we make it! But because we were made by it!
