BLUFF LAND SCHOOL No 129
BLUFF LAND SCHOOL No 129 was located in the eastern part of Harmon County, two miles north and 1 1/2 miles east of Gould, Oklahoma, in a half dugout. The first teacher was Eva Howard. Miss Hallie Ross, who later married Alvin Dickerson, was the teacher in 1906. School Board members in 1909 were F E Smith, W E Jennings, W G Burns, R G Campbell, J R Hurley and C E Revells. Teachers in 1917-18 were Gordon Shelton and Selma Shelton. Bluff Land School consolidated with Gould
after closing August 4, 1919.
