EDGEWORTH SCHOOL No 148

EDGEWORTH SCHOOL No 148 (Squash Holler)was located in the northeastern part of Harmon County, nine miles north and 3 1/2 miles east of Hollis, Oklahoma. The first teacher in this one room school house was S A Jackson. Organized before 1909 the school consolidated with Metcalf then Gould after closing in 1915.
