The Harmon County Historical Museum will sponsor a "Laugh In" show on Friday, May 23, 2008.
This event will "Kick off" the "Reunion Week End" for Hollis High School and Ron High School !
Skits from "Hee Haw" and "Jackrabbit Junction"!
Musical Numbers with our talented "Star Search" contestants !
Lots of Kids to see! An event to remember!
Our local Cowboy Poet, Daren Brookman has his second book in print!
"Where Sagebrush Grows" includes Darin's poems and art by Brian Asher. Darin is carrying on a fifth generation farm and cattle operation in Harmon County, OK and Childress County, TX. He is a featured poet at the cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, Nevada and other cowboy gatherings across the western United States.

The poet's pen bares bits of soul preserved in verse and rhyme.
The minstrel puts to melody brave deeds, hope, and despair.
But all pale in comparison to simly being there."
