C. A. BALTZELL Succumbs Here
Funeral Services To Be Held Tomorrow Morning At First Baptist Church
    Charles Alexander BALTZELL, 68, who had lived in Holdenville for nearly 25 years, died today at 12:25 a.m. at his home, 511 North Broadway, following an illness of six months.
    BALTZELL had been in critical condition for some time and his death was not unexpected.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at the First Baptist Church with Rev. J. E. KIRK officiating. Burial will be in Holdenville Cemetery, under the direction of Mackeys.
    Pallbearers are Carl STANFORD, Hugh CAMPBELL, Ed DOUGLAS, Tom WHALEY Jr., Lawrence STEWART, and Bert LEWIS.
    BALTZELL is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dora BALTZELL, two daughters, Mrs. Leva CURTIS and Miss Iva BALTZELL, both of Holdenville; and 5 sons, W. H. of Eldorado, Kans., Charles Jr. of Denver, Colo., J. H. of Joplin, Mo., and J. Paul and Eugene of the city. All were at his bedside at the time of his death, but Charles.
    BALTZELL was born March 17, 1866 at Urbana, Ill., and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry L. BALTZELL. He came here in 1906 and had lived here since then except for a few years spent in Missouri.
    He was a member of the Baptist Church here and was on of the deacons.

Baptist Brotherhood Banquet Postponed
    Monthly banquet of the First Baptist Brotherhood of the First Baptist Church scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to the death of C. A. BALTZELL, active worker in the church. Tom J. FULLERTON, a vice president of the men's organization announced today.
    No date has been set for the banquet scheduled for this month, FULLERTON said.
