Missionary Johnnie Mae BARNETT    

    Funeral services for Missionary Johnnie Mae BARNETT were held July 22 at the New Jerusalem Temple Church in Christ in Oklahoma City with Dr. Bobby L. WILLIAMS officiating.

    She was born in July 10, 1909 in Davis to John THORNTON and Dora WASHINGTON THORNTON and died July 17 in the Specialty Hospital in Midwest City. at the age of 93.

    She was reared in Holdenville and moved to Oklahoma City in 1986. She was a member of the Perry Temple Church of God in Christ in Holdenville. After moving to Oklahoma City, she attended the New Jerusalem Temple Church of God in Christ. Mrs. BARNETT was a member of Missionary Society for Church of God in Christ.

    She was married to Sandy J. BARNETT in 1945 in Wewoka . Rev.. BARNETT preceded her in death in 1962.

    Survivors include three sons, David BAKER of Holdenville, Gayle BARNETT of Denver , Co. and Joseph BIRMINGHAM of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Fredicka ENGLISH of Seminole; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

    Interment was in Buckner Cemetery in Holdenville.
