Eunice Janet BUCKLEY

            Funeral services for Eunice Janet BUCKLEY, 87, of Calera were held March 22 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel of Durant with Rev. James BLAGG officiating.

            She was born Jan. 10, 1915 in Saline, La. To Edwin F. SANDERLIN and Dossie (GUINN) SANDERLIN and died March 19 in Durant.

            Living in Oklahoma all her life, she attended schools in Wetumka.

            She was married to Kozy BUCKLEY in Weleetka and became a mother and housewife.

            Mrs. BUCKLEY was a member of The Church of Latter Day Saints.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Wanda WARD; three brothers and two sisters.

            Survivors include a daughter, Hope ELLIS of Denison, Tx.; a son, Hershel BUCKLEY and wife, Sharon of California; granddaughter, Renna Collier and husband, Larry of Calera; 10 other grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

            Pallbearers were Dusty MCGUIRE, Billy Don WARD, Cory WARD, Conner MCGUIRE, Jeff MCGUIRE and Terry HISE.

            Interment was in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Durant.
