Manuel CHASTAIN

            Funeral services for Manuel CHASTAIN, 74, of Charleston, AR. Will be held Thursday, July 8 at 0 a.m. at the First Freewill Baptist church in Charleston officiated by Rev. Wendel CROSSWHITE. There will be a 3 p.m. graveside service at Wetumka cemetery.

            He was born March 9, 1925 at Wetumka, the son of Lawrence and Aline CHASTAIN, and died July 5 at St. Edwards hospital.

            He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist church.

            Survivors include his wife, Loise, of the home, three daughters, Darla BANGS of Charleston, Ar., Jenny STRICKLAND of Pittsburgh, Ks. And Linda WHITE of McAlester; one sister, Virginia WILLIAMS of Greenwood, Ar.; three brothers, John CHASTAIN of Weleetka, Kenneth CHASTAIN of Wetumka and Jimmy CHASTAIN of Orville, Ca.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and other relatives.

            Grandsons will be pallbearers.

            Services will be under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston, Ar.
