Fordyce G. DAVIS
Fordyce G. DAVIS, 81, 200 Commerce Street, Holdenville
died this morning, March 19, in the Holdenville General Hospital. He was a
retired upholsterer.
He was born in Silo [Shiloh], Arkansas, December 11,
1894. He married Ora L. THOMPSON in Perryville, Arkansas October 27, 1917.
She survives of the home.
The couple moved to Oklahoma in 1922.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. J. C. TAYLOR,
Holdenville: three sons, Grover, Choctaw: Raymond, Ford Orchard, Oregon: Paul,
Santa Anna, California: 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren: one sister,
Artie COMBS, Heber Springs, Arkansas.
Two daughters preceded him in death, Mrs. Montez SHORES
in December 1696 and Marjorie Marie DAVIS in 1928.
Services will be at 1:30 Monday March 22 in the Hudson
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry MINTER, pastor of the Church of God of
Prophesy, and Rev. Martin PERRYMAN, pastor of the Assembly of God Church
officiating. Interment will be in the Holdenville Cemetery.
Hudson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
