Cecilia FLORES
Funeral services for Cecilia FLORES was held July 18 the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City ,Ks,. with the Rev. Ted A. SKALSKY presiding.
She was born July 5, 1907, to Abraham and Natividad (MENDOZA) MOLINA at Mateuala, San Luis, Potosi, Mexico and died July 15 at the Wetumka Nursing Home.
She married Pablo FLORES on July 7, 1923 in Manor, Tx. He preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 1963.
Mrs. FLORES had been a longtime Dodge City, Ks. resident, moving to Oklahoma in October, 2001.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. FLORES was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Altar Society, both of Dodge City, Ks.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Mel and Frank, on grandson and one granddaughter.
Survivors include four sons, Ben of Sacramento, Ca., Al of Dodge City, Ks., Paul of Hutchinson, Ks. and Richard of Mulvane, Ks.; two daughters, Tillie ABSHER of Wetumka and Jane PARK of Pittsburg; 34 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; a step-great-grandson; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
Interment was at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt, Ks.
