Illness Fatal To Miss Gibson
Elder Woman Dies Saturday At Harve Ball Home
Funeral Monday
Funeral services for Miss Alma GIBSON, 71, were held at 2:30
o'clock this afternoon at the Arnold-Heady Funeral Chapel. Rev. Thomas R.
MOREHEAD officiated and burial occurred in the Holdenville cemetery.
Mrs. GIBSON died at 5 o'clock Sunday of ? at the home of her
niece Mrs. Harve BALL, after an illness of several weeks.
Pallbearers were J. B. STAMPLER, W. H. HOLMAN, Bill CAIN, R.
A. DAILEY, H. T. BARLOW and Bob ROBINSON.
She is survived by her sister, Mrs. John BRYSON, of
Holdenville and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Harve BALL, Miss Lelia GIBSON,
and Arthur BRYSON of Holdenville, Mrs. Eddie SCHNIDER of Oklahoma City, Miss
Margaret GIBSON and Kenneth GIBSON of Pawnee.
Miss GIBSON came to Holdenville four years ago from
Stillwater and had been making her home with her sister, Mrs. BRYSON, until she
became ill and was moved to the home of Mrs. Harve BALL.
She was born in Warrenburg, Mo. in 1859.
Mrs. Laura J. WILSON and daughter Mrs. Otto DONER of Sasakwa
and Mrs. Harris LINDSEY of Wewoka attended the funeral services this afternoon.
A number of other out of town friends were present.
