Funeral services for Garland HUFF were
held Friday, December 28, 2001 at 2:00 PM at Hudson-Phillips Chapel with Pastor
Roy ROGERS officiating.
He was born August 9, 1918 in Lamar to L.O. and Dolly
HUFF and died December 25, 2001 at the age of 83
Mr. HUFF was married to Leola TURNER of Slaton, TX on
October 2, 1940. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Lamar
Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister,
Cecil O'KELLY.
Survivors include his wife, Leola, of the home; two
sons, Charles HUFF and Paul HUFF, both of Holdenville; two daughters, Ruth
MATHEWSON of Glendora, California, and Margaret MCDONALD of Chouteau, Oklahoma;
11 grandchildren, Steven Wayne HUFF of Augusta, Kansas, Russell HUFF of Wichita,
Kansas, Deborah MATHEWSON of Glendora, California, Cynthia CORRINGTON of
Burbank, California, Brian MCDONALD of Coweta, Chad MCDONALD of Ft. Worth,
Texas, Pamela PHILLIPS of North Richland Hills, Texas, Michelle SHADDEN of
Holdenville, Gerri HUFF of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Steven Warren HUFF of
Holdenville and Travis HUFF, also of Holdenville; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Internment was in Lamar Cemetery under the direction of
Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home of Holdenville, OK
