June Laverne LYNCH
Grave side services for June Laverne LYNCH will be held Friday, June 21, at 10 a.m. at Yeager Cemetery.
She was born April 17, 1932 in Wewoka to Mamie and Noel TILLEY and died June 16 at her home with her children at her side.
She attended Wewoka public schools. She married H. Joe LYNCH in 1950 and moved to the Holdenville area in 1957.
Mrs. LYNCH worked at the Street Care Cafe for many years, and then worked in home health care before retiring. She was an avid quilter and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and mamie TILLEY, a sister, Lou Alice TILLEY and a brother, Dale TILLEY.
Survivors include a son, Leland LYNCH and his wife, Phyllis, of Broken Arrow; two daughters, Shelley CARTER and her husband, David, of Yeager and Jolena JERNIGEN of Broken Arrow; four grandchildren, Tracee CARTER of Norman, Libby BOONE and her husband Mark, of Broken Arrow, Rusty CARTER and his wife, Trina, of Yeager and Abbie GORDON and her husband, Hugh, also of Broken Arrow; a great-0grandchild, Mea MARTINEZ of Broken Arrow and a second great-grandchild to be born in December; two brothers, Jerry TILLEY and John TILLEY; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home of Holdenville.
