Harve WHALEY Dies At Home; Rites Pending
BULLETIN
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Saturday in the Nazarene church here with the Rev. C.C. JOHNSON officiating.
Burial will be in the Bilby community cemetery under the direction of Hudson
Funeral Home. Bearers will be Johnny, Jack, Russell, Elmer, James and Bud LUCAS.
Funeral rites are pending for Harve H. WHALEY, 60,
lifetime resident of Hughes county, who died at 5 :30 am today at a local
hospital.
Arrangements will be announced by the Hudson Funeral Home.
Born Dec. 26, 1889 at Newburg, ( now Atwood), he was a retired farmer and had spent his lifetime in this area.
Survivors are three sons, JT of Whitney,
Nev., JR and W H WHALEY of Borger, Texas ; three daughters, Mrs Willie B GOUCHER
of Anadarko, Mrs. Virginia Dale BREWER, city, and Miss Oleta WHALEY of the home
address: 13 grand-children ; five brothers, TH., city, Orb of Oklahoma city,
Paul of Tahlequah, Bill, city, and Frank of Brownsville, Texas ; and two
sisters, Mrs. Aude DAILEY of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Mason SHIFLETT of Dallas.
Harve is my grand father, one of the sons mentioned in
Nancy's obituary, he married Beulah Marie LUCAS, my grandmother.....Submitted
