1. How to subscribe. Send an e-mail to OKJOHNST-L-REQUEST@rootsweb.com with the one word, subscribe, in the BODY of the message, leaving your subject line blank, if you have an email server that requires a subject you may also put in the word subscribe.

2. The "L" in the email address above will give you each individual email separately, I recommend sending an email to OKJOHNST-D-REQUEST@rootsweb.com, this is called the DIGEST MODE and it will send you in one email several posts at one time.

3. After completing steps 1. or 2. you will receive a confirmation and further instructions and you may now post to the discussion list by using this email address: OKJOHNST-L@rootsweb.com, it will not matter if you used L or D in steps 1. or 2. as the email address to post is the same for both.

4. How to unsubscribe. Send a message to OKJOHNST-L-REQUEST@rootsweb.com or to OKJOHNST-D-REQUEST@rootsweb.com (for digest mode subscribers only) that contains the one word, unsubscribe, in the body of the message and no additional text. (turn off your signature file) If you are subscribed in Digest mode, send the unsubscribe message to OKJOHNST-D-REQUEST@rootsweb.com
