Kate Aldridge, 97, of Spiro died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, in Spiro. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Spiro and a member of Woodsmen of the World.

Funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2003, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Leard Cemetery in Fort Smith and Pocola area.

She is survived by two daughters, Leona Carter of Fort Smith and Mary and son-in-law, Jack Gray of Spiro; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jack, Scott, Barry and Landon Gray, Jessie Ingersoll and T.J. Ingersoll.

The body may be viewed 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
