She was an early pioneer settler, coming into Indian Territory with her mother and father, Hester J. Noe and William M. "Buck" Davis, from Lamar County, Alabama, about 1874.  Her interview for the Indian Pioneer Papers telling of their early life in LeFlore County is online.
