Phillip C. Adams, a Fremont resident for forty-two years, died on Thursday, July 19, 2001. He was fifty-three years old.

Mr. Adams was born on December 16, 1947, in Portland, Oregon. He was employed with the Canteen Corp. in San Jose for twenty-seven years. He was a member of Teamsters Local No. 78.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia M. Adams, of Fremont; sons, Jason P. Adams, Timothy S. Adams, and Adam G. Adams, Fremont; mother, Ottie Adams, Oroville; sisters, Candy Cawthra, Salt Lake City, Utah; Leona Dennis and Belinda McFadden, Oroville; Melinda Braback, Oregon; brothers, Steve Adams, Fremont; Larry Adams and Ricky Adams, Oroville; Kim Adams, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Preceding him in death were his father, Charles William (Chuck) Adams, and a sister, Sharry Adams.

A private family gathering will be held.
