Jodie Allison POTEAU — Jodie Allison, 83, of Poteau died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, in Poteau. He was a Baptist and a veteran of World War II. He was the widower of Lula Waldon. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with burial at Reichert Cemetery in Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener. He is survived by his wife, Opal; four daughters, Pat Boivin of Grand Junction, Colo., Iva Jo Shykes of Eufaula, Diann Madden of Norman, Okla. and Kathy Allen of Moore, Okla.; one son, Harold of Eufaula; one sister, Lurahree Walden of Poteau; three brothers, Forrest and Kenneth, both of Oxnard, Calif. and Dean of Cameron; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and 20 step great-great-grandchildren.
