Effie Allred
BENTON — Effie Josephine Allred, 81, of Benton died Friday, Jan. 17,
2003. She was born May 18, 1921, in Dardanelle. She and her husband
helped organize the Bibleway Fellowship Church in Benton where they
were co-ministers, she led the congregational hymns and played the
guitar.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home Chapel in
Benton with burial at New Rosemont Memorial Gardens in Benton.
She is survived by her husband, Orvil; three daughters, Florina
Woodall of Benton, Betty Lambert of Paron and Barbara Allred of Little
Rock; four sons, Arnold Ray Allred of Oklahoma City, Marlin Allred of
Benton, Lafayette Allred of Bryant and Leo Allred of Scott; a sister,
Melda Rachel Walker of Ozark; a brother, Eldon King of Pottsville; 19
grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Danny E., David and Robert Allred, Jeffrey
Lambert, Craig S. Carter and Adam Pate.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
funeral home.
