Clarence Benge
PARKS — Clarence Douglas Benge, 60, of Parks died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003. He was born July 7, 1942, in Booneville. He was a computer programmer analyst for L.T. V. Vought Corp. in Grand Prairie, Texas, a licensed minister for more than 35 years, a member of Parks Southern Baptist Church and the Radio Club.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parks Southern Baptist Church under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale. Burial is pending.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, Clarence "C.J." Benge Jr. and Phillip Benge, both of Arlington, Texas; his mother, Christine Miller of Fort Smith; two sisters, June Goff and Darlene Jackson, both of Fort Smith; four brothers, Otis Goff of Dardanelle, David Benge of Booneville, Sanford Goff of San Diego and Dalen Goff of Lowell; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Don Ellis, Ray Lees, Harvey Combs and Dalen Goff.
The family will visit with friends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parks Southern Baptist Church.
