Assistant U. S. Marshal R. D. McDougal came to Marshall County 80 years ago. He celebrated his 95th. birthday at his home here on August 2nd.
Mr McDougal was Assistant U. S. Marshall for 14 years prior to statehood.
Following his job as U. S. Marshal, Mr McDougal followed the carpenter trade for many years.
