VOL II IS HERE!

NCGS is happy to announce that Volume II is now available for sale either through the website or by contacting President Virginia Slay! The book looks wonderful, and we would like to extend our thanks to all members of the public and all past and present members of NCGS who helped make this book a reality.

NCGS now has a new e-mail address. If you would like to contact us about research, history/genealogy questions, obituary lookups, and other such requests, please e-mail us at ncgsmail@rocketmail.com

SEEKING NEW MEMBERS

Noble County Genealogy Society is seeking new members. If you are interested in the history of our area, and want to help preserve it with a fun, dedicated group of volunteers, please contact Virginia Slay to sign up for a membership. These cost $15.00 per year. If you do not live in our area but would still like to support our mission, you can be a non-local member for the same fee.

Our Mission

NCGS exists in order to:

  • Provide a facility for Noble County related genealogy research.
  • Offer personalized research assistance.
  • Document and preserve the history of Noble County and all its current and historical parts.
  • Publish historical materials about Noble County.
  • Network with other genealogical societies and historical institutions.
  • Record information about cemeteries and other burial places within Noble County.

Monthly Meetings

The Noble County Genealogy Society meets the third Saturday of each month at the Perry Carnegie Library, located at 302 N. 7th Street. Meetings generally run from 10:00 AM - noon, and are always open to the public.

With Thanks To...

This website is respectfully dedicated to Member Emeritus Mildred Highfill, without whom the Noble County Genealogy Society would not be what it is today.
