Library's telephone number is 918 273-3363This club meets at the Nowata Library at 1:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month. Club dues are $5.00 per year and $.25 "funny money" is contributed at each monthly meeting.
The President of the club is Barbara Yates.
Family Finders will search all records in our library for a donation to our club and the cost of copying (25cents a page) and postage.The Sec/Treas of the Club is Nita Wesson. If you are interested in learning the latest information about the club please contact her at nwesson@junct.com.

Operates with volunteer personnel only. Contributions are accepted. Open 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday. Phone calls are welcomed during business hours. The volunteers will help you if they can. Will answer questions about prominent, and not so prominent citizens. Exhibits offer a glimps of Indian Territory and early Oklahoma History. They cover oil fields, history of Nowata County, agriculture, Cherokee Nation, wood carvings, artifacts, cowboy information, early law enforcement, rodeo championships, furntiture brought to Nowata via covered wagon, furnishings from old homes and businesses, hardware, and much more.
The Nowata Historical Society has a book available entitled "Nowata County History" and a folded map depicting Nowata County and many important and historic sites. It is helpful in showing where many people resided. Please contact them for availability and cost.
