According to a book by Jeannie Inman, the cemetery at Nowata is really seven cemeteries, four of which were relocated here during construction of the reservoir at Oologah. It is often referred to just as Memorial Park Cemetery.

               Galloway or Family-13*
               Mehlin or Family-12*

           * = relocated cemetery
