Many different businesses have been located in this old brick building, known to many as the "Jim Moore Garage". This picture was taken in 1929 and known at that time as the Culwell Motor Company - Chevrolet Agency. The persons in front of the building were identified as harry Bennett, Jack Caine and Johnny Culwell. A local business man, Jim Moore with oil interest built the brick building in approximately 1920. He would rent the front part and keep the back part for his own use. Since the turn of the century the buildings at this site have underwent many renovations and remodels and the businesses have ranged from livery stable to oil field equipment repair to automobile maintenance.
