Born in Harrah, Oklahoma  July  14, 1923 the actor moved with his family to Oklahoma City in 1927. He attended Eugene Field Elementary School, Roosevelt Junior High School and Classen High School where he graduated in 1939.

His father, Melvin Robertson, lives in Sulphur, Oklahoma. His mother, Mrs. Varvel Robertson, died on April 20, 1982 in an automobile accident. She founded the Robertson Convalescent home in 1938 in Oklahoma City, and was its manager for twenty years.

Officially retiring from his acting career in 1976, Robertson returned to Oklahoma to fulfil his childhood dream... his prized Haymaker Farm, a 430 acre horse breeding and boarding business northeast of Yukon, Oklahoma.

Dale Robertson married Susan ____ on Feb 25, 1980. He is the father of two daughters, Rochelle and Rebel Lee.

August 11, 1968 Daily Oklahoman article "Anadarko parade will launch the 37th annual American Indian Exposition...the climax of the exhibition will come next Saturday with a parade honoring the Oustanding Indian of the Year, movie and television star Dale Robertson, a quarter blood Chichasaw."

In 1979 movie and television star Dale Robertson was inducted into the Hall of Fame of Western Performers at the National Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Best known for his roles in ""Death Valley Days'' and ""Tales of Wells Fargo.'' He appeared in 63 movies during his 36-year acting career.

San Fernando, Calif - Oct 10 Actress Mary Murphy Wednesday sued to annual her marriage to actor Dale Robetson on the ground he did not want her to have children. Her suit alleged that he kept his intenetions about children a secret until after the wedding. Robertson and the actress were marriod last June 4 in Yuma, Ariz.
