The hotel had 82 rooms--35
with a shower and 15 with a
bath and 32 without.
One advertisement claimed that the Walcott
was "headquarters for
traveling men and toursts.
Located in the heart
of the city. Mr. C. P. Rose, manager."
The Walcott was located
on the northeast corner of Main and Union
across the street from
what is now
the J.C. Penney building
on east Main.
