"Ghost" town of 
Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma

Location:  1 mile southwest of Wanette
Established:  January 11, 1897
Named for:  2 men named Joe

Joe Melot and Joe Brown owners of a cotton gin and grist mill across the river
were the namesakes of this little town.  No further information is known at this time.
