Carl Gray's grandmother lived in Savanna around 1900. She told him that
several people were killed in the explosion, including her husband.
If anyone knows anymore about this accident and the death of
Gilbert Graham, please contact
Carl Gray. Also, if you possibly
know any of the people pictured in the photos, please
contact me and I will post their names here. Footnote from Carl Gray: Gilbert and Mary Graham were listed on the 1900 census in Savanna. His occupation was coal miner. |
