| SURNAME - Boatman Query - ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My grandfather and grandmother came into the Dale area in the early 1900s.Joshua Boatman and Etter White {henryetta}? move here from Texas by way of Fort Sill. .Etters mother was Ellen Fletcher. She had half brothers and sisters that were Fletchers. I don't know where the White comes in. My Father Henry Boatman Said His grandpa {Etters} daddy was full Blood Cherokee, But I don't have a name so I may never know. My Aunt Drucilla was born at Pink. There may have been others born in Pott. co. before they moved to Seminole co. I'm looking for anyone with info on Uncle Bud and Aunt Sis Fletcher. They were twins Aunt Sis married a Linncome.
