SURNAME - FAST Query - I am looking for any information on a John Marcus DAHLEM, my grandfather that I never knew. He married Cleo Faye WEEKS in Tarrant County on 12/27/25 and they had a son Billy Jack DAHLEM my dad - . He was born on March 9, 1927 in Maud, Pottawatomie County. John Dahlems parents were Mary FAST and Henry DAHLEM. John Marcus was born 12/25/1889 in Pottridge, Kansas and died 11/24/59 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. All I know is Cleo remarried a JONES. She only told me that John Marcus worked on the railroads and sang on the radio in Fort Worth Texas. I know there was an aunt Myrle DAHLEM and a "Streeter" DAHLEM. Also I found information that he had a brother E.N. DAHLEM, sister - Clara DRYDEN, sister - Susie BUCKLAND. I have found out John Marcus DAHLEM had 3 neices at the time of his death in 1959. The three were: Beulah COVEY, Thelma WRIGHT and Maurice ARRIC. The only other information I have is at his death he was married to Sylvia DAHLEM and resided in Tulsa OK. He is buried in Tulsa Memorial Park Cemetary. I have been looking so hard for any information on John Marcus DAHLEM and his family. PLEASE let me know any information at all. I found most of this family on the Guion Miller Roll and have been unable to find any other documentation about this family in Indian Territory. Query - Seeking information on Martha Minerva Damaris Walkup FERGUSON. She married Joseph Ferguson who died in 1864. The had two children, Frances and Samuel. SURNAME - FERGUSON Query - My father's family, George Oliver & Fannie Max COX FERGUSON settled in Pottowatomie County OK during the early 1900's. They had a house fire that destroyed their home either in Bethel or Shawnee. I know the school there has some pictures of my father, Frank & his brothers, Wilburn, Wilson & TR playing sports etc. I also would like to find out anything I can about the rural cemetery in Bethel, The Ray Cemetery, where 2 of his sisters were buried somewhere between 1909 & 1911. SURNAME -  FLETCHER Query - A family name FLetcher, that lived in Shawnee Okla. my father in law was born there on May 17,1907 his parents names were James Fletcher or James Cook, mothers name was Mabel Hughes ? -  both of Texas, this information came off his social security application. Also the children may have been from 2 different marriages from Mabel, Story are she had afew husbands but these may just be stories.. Also hear the father was a sheffif in Okla and stole a race house and this was why the change of names. All family records were destroyed in a fire and then the rest in a flood. there is so much false information on what legal documents we have. It is almost impossible to trace anything. There were 2 boys born in OKla one named, Alvin Luther Fletcher or Cook and one named Raymond Ralph Cook Raymond always used the name Cook. on his application for social security it names his parents as James Cook, and mother as mary, maria or Mannie last name unknown. Enlisted in the U.S. Army ! during WW2. Raymonds date of birth is Oct.23,1918.. he also lived in Calif , Looks like the family moved to Calif and stayed pretty close to eat other in the Kingsburg, and Fresno Area. Raymond and Alvin are buried in the Kingsburg Cemetery. Have sent for his records but seen they were also destroyed in a fire, along with other records stored. There were 2 girls, ages or birth places unknown, their names were Florance and Vilma, Florance married a Bill Kodman, and lived in Calif until her death last year. Russell Talley, m. him and had Fern Ryburn Talley 1911. Then Fannie died 1913, Mary "Molly" raised Wm. Emory ARCHER but after a time Wm. Russell TALLEY raised Fern alone, without the help of Mary "Molly". 3. Henry BRITTEN, an older widower with older children then m. Mary Ann "Molly" FOWLER, MEEKS, THOMAS. SURNAME - FRY Query I am looking for information on the siblings and parents of my gr-grandfather, John William FRY. He was born 04/01/1852 in Pike Co., IL and died on the family farm near Shawnee, Pottawatomie Co., OK on 12/20/1937. He lived in Macon Co., MO through the later half of the 1800's and moved to Seminole Co., OK around 1900. After a few years in that area he moved to Earlsboro, Pott. Co., OK and built the Freewill Baptist Church while there. Sometime in the 1920's he purchased 80 acres near where the Shawnee Twin Lakes are now, and lived there until his death. He is buried in the Earlsboro Cemetery next to his wife, Sarah A. BOOTHE FRY. I have information from a family member that his father's name was John William Harrison FRY, but I have not been able to substantiate this. I have found his mother's name, Eliza J., on the 1870 Census in Macon Co., MO, but his father was not in the home so he may have been deceased by then. I have not been able to determine which John Fry, from the hundreds that seem to be out there, is the correct one. If anyone has any information that will help me please contact me.
