SURNAME -  NICHOLS Query -  Edward Marshall NICHOLS born September 15, 1900 in Shawnee, Pottawatomie County, Ok was the son of Edward Hobson NICHOLS b. 1875 and Millie Ann BREWINGTON b. 1880. Edward Hobson NICHOLS died 1900 in Shawnee. Millie Ann Brewington Nichols then married a man by the name of J.S. BALL and they moved to Shamrock, Ok. In 1917 Edward Marshall NICHOLS served in the US Navy during WWI. About 1920, Edward Marshall NICHOLS moved to Wirt, Carter County, OK with his mother, step father, and half-siblings Geraldine "Gerry" BALL and Harold "Odell" BALL. Geraldine married Manville "Monty" Montgomery. Harold "Odell" married a Gladys. Edward Marshall NICHOLS married a "Georgeann" in the early 1920's in Wirt. In 1925, Edward Marshall NICHOLS and Georgeann had a daughter named Peggy Jean/Gean NICHOLS. I am desperately trying to locate this Peggy Jean as she is my half-sister.
