Rowland, in Shawnee, Okla. / born near Ripley but spent his early manhood in Illinois / served in an Illinois regiment during the Civil War / moved to Shawnee from Mobile, Ala., about a year ago. ROWLAND, MRS. MARTHA ANN 011823-  died Jan. 9 at Shawnee, Okla., where she had moved a year ago / born in Miss., 1846 / later lived in Alabama / sons are Dr. T.D. Rowland and C.H. Rowland of Shawnee, Dr. Edd Rowland of Norman, Okla., and Richard Rowland of Miss. A. J. Rowland, which I believe stands for Andrew Joseph or Jackson, was born about 1845-46 in MS. Martha Ann Northcross-  Rowland, was born about 1847-47 in MS. T.D. Rowland, may stand for Tolbert Dalton, he was born about 1871 in MS. C.H. Rowland may actually be C. W. Rowland, he was born about 1876 in MS. Edd Rowland of Norman may actually be Edward A. Rowland, born about 1879 in MS. The brother of A.J. Rowland was George W. Rowland, he may have also been in the area. He was born about 1848 in MS and was married to Mary or Macey E. or J. Guthrie, she was born about 1845 in MS. Any records would be appreciated.
