| Surname MARKIN ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Query - Looking for relatives of Maggie Markin, who was from Shawnee, Ok area. Maggie was an Aunt to George Herman Smith,who was part Cherokee. George born 1916 in Shawnee,was son of George Smith and Edna Molder. He left in the 1950's went to Alaska. Hoping some Markin relative may have info on George's parents and possibly know his grandparents's names.Grandparents would have probably been removed from Tennesse to Oklahoma during Trail of Tears.
