Memorial services for Betty D. BELL, 62, of Muldrow are to be held at a later date. She died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, in Muldrow. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BELL was born on Jan. 23, 1944, in the Starr community to Arlie CHRISTENBERRY and Alberta (ROMINE) CHRISTENBERRY.  She married Johnnie Ray BELL on March 9, 1968, in Heavener. Survivors include her husband, Johnnie of the home; one daughter, Jennifer; one son, Toby; one granddaughter; four sisters, Freda, Margie, Wanda and Debbie; and three brothers, Jesse, Donnie and Billy.

Funeral services for Myrtle TABOR JEREMIAH DEWITT, 85, of Charleston, Ark., formerly of Muldrow, are being held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Liberty Assembly of God Church in Liberty with Revs. Steve Shinn and Andy O'Neal officiating. Burial is in Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. DEWITT was born Feb. 12, 1921, in the Liberty community, to John Henry TABOR and Llora (ROBARS) TABOR. She died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Bernadine and Johnny, E.J. "Jeanie", and Lois Renee and Billy "Hutch"; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Nicy; one brother-in-law, Arley; many nieces, nephews, and many friends; and special friends, David and Kenneth and Angie. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Dempsey JEREMIAH and Luther DEWITT, her parents, six brothers, Charles TABOR, Alva TABOR, Bob TABOR, Shird TABOR, Oscar TABOR, and Ted TABOR and five sisters, Rose HENSON, Vida VAUGHN, Bertha TRAMMELL, Margaret FUGETT and Etta BRIDGES.

Funeral services for Odessia EUBANKS, 88, of Stilwell, are being held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hart Memorial Chapel in Stilwell. The Bro. Jimmy Muskrat is officiating. Burial is in the Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell. Mrs. EUBANKS was born on June 6, 1918, in Sequoyah County. She died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, in Stilwell. Mrs. EUBANKS was an active member of the Free Holiness Mission.  Survivors include her daughter, Martha, and her husband, Jerry; one sister, Bonnie; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five step-great-grandchildren; and four step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John EUBANKS, seven brothers, two sisters, and three step-sons, Bill, Jack, and Dallas EUBANKS.

Funeral services for Emily Jo RIGGS FRASHER, 81, of Glendale, Ariz., formerly of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating. Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. FRASHER was born Dec. 17, 1924, in Sallisaw, to Maurice RIGGS and Minnie Lee (MILLER) RIGGS. She died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, in Glendale, Ariz.  She married Dennis W. "Jack" FRASHER who preceded her in death, Sept. 1, 1980. Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Lela and Louise; two nieces; one nephew; and numerous other family members and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Carney L. FOREMAN.

Funeral services for Mollie M. KENNEDY, 79, of Stigler were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Stigler. The Revs. Tommy Honeycutt and Glenn Kates officiated. Burial was in the Whitefield Cemetery in Whitefield under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler. Mrs. KENNEDY was born on Sept. 16, 1927, in Sallisaw to John F. and Pearl Mae (PETREE) BURNS. She died Nov. 28, 2006, in Stigler. Mrs. KENNEDY was a homemaker and member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Stigler.  She married Roland "Buck" KENNEDY on Nov. 15, 1947, in Stigler. Survivors include her husband, Roland "Buck" KENNEDY of the home; five sisters, Geneva, Shirley, Barbara, Dixie, and Ruth; one brother, Homer; her adopted family, Lewis and his wife, Sue, and their sons; and several nieces, nephews, friends and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Junior and John M. and two sisters, Gladys PENNY and Sue SPENCER.

Funeral services for Thomas Clyde MOORE, 67, of Gore will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Gore United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jean Rozell will officiate. Burial will be in the Gore City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. MOORE was born on March 27, 1939, in Locke, Ark., to Willie Waymon MOORE and Patsy Rea (JACKSON) MOORE. He died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Delora SHOPE on April 2, 1976, in Edna, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Delora MOORE of the home; his children, Tom Jr., and Greg and Sharla, David and Tracy, Becky and Tom, Tina and Juan; sisters, Virginia, and Stella and Kenneth; brothers, Raymond, Dwight and Helen, and Paul and Linda; and 10 grandchildren.

Burial was in Chant Cemetery in Y-City, under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron. Mrs. BUNN died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, in Waldron. Mrs. BUNN was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. Survivors include one daughter, Sheri; two sons, Claud "Butch", Jr. and wife, Peggy, Ted and wife Leann; two sisters, Phyllys and Sharon; one brother, Jerry; five grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Debra BUNN and Tina BUNN, husband, Claud Avery BUNN, Sr. and her father, James "Jim" Loung HEBBARD.

Funeral services for Roger CASEY, 85, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodlawn Memorial Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. Mr. CASEY was born Jan. 24, 1921, in Chismville, Ark. He died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Vera; one daughter, Lori; two step-sons, Alan and Kenny W.; one sister, Marie; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The services were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HIXON was born on Jan. 29, 1926, in Stilwell to James Dewey SPYRES and Bonnie Mae (SUMPTER) SPYRES. She died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006 in Conway. She married Carl W. HIXON on Oct. 6, 1945, in Selma, Calif.  Survivors include her husband, Carl, of the home; two daughters, Tena M. and Pamela; two sons, Ronald C., and Rodney P.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Dewey; three sisters, Peggy, June, and Shirley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, in Vian. She married Merlin PLEW, Dec. 20, 1963, in Las Vegas, Nev. Survivors include her husband, Merlin PLEW of the home; three sisters, Lavern, Wanda and Jane; three brothers, Robert, Donald and Lloyd; three aunts, Edna, Helen and Bess; father-in-law, Bob; sister-in-law, Laura; two brothers-in-law, Donald and Bobby. She was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law, Mary SIMONS and one son, Merlin Leith PLEW.

Burial was in Marble City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. WILLIAMS was born Jan. 9, 1927, in Marble City, to Elijah BALL and Minnie (HONEYCUTT) BALL. She died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, in Sallisaw. Survivors include three sons, Bob, Dale and Troy; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ed; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, James CARTER, two sisters, Myrtle HINDMAN and Ollie ANDERSON and two brothers, Fred and Barney BALL.

Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. APPLEGATE was born on Nov. 22, 1969, in Sacton, Ariz., to Eugene APPLEGATE and Bernice Christine LEWIS. He married Melissa Joyce HOWARD on Oct. 19, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Melissa APPLEGATE of the home; three sons, Lonnie Junior and Bryan, and Brenden; his mother, Bernice LEWIS; his father, Eugene APPLEGATE; one sister, Diana; mother-in-law, Carolyn PERKINS; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Teddy Applegate.

Funeral services for Thelma Louise FOLKS, 73, of Dewey, are being held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Way of the Cross Church, south of Sallisaw, with Rev. Jerry Copeland officiating. Mrs. FOLKS was born Sept. 30, 1933, in Wagoner, to Charles Columbus and Maudie May (LEWIS) SMITH. She died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, in Dewey. She married Arvil N. FOLKS, Aug. 18, 1972, in Stigler. He preceded her in death in 1989. Survivors include one son, Randy and his wife Pam; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, three brothers, and one grandson, Randall BLAND in 1991.

Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. GORE was born Aug. 19, 1915, in Loco, to John W. BANDY and Mary (MULLINS) BANDY. She died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Willie I. GORE, Feb. 6, 1934, in Comanche. He preceded her in death, March 2, 1985, in Comanche. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Clifford; one son and daughter-in-law, Willie J. and Shirley; one sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Chester; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law; three grandsons and granddaughters-in-law; four great-granddaughters; four great-grandsons. Mrs. PHILLIPS was born on Jan. 12, 1938, in Webbers Falls to Hoyt NEAL and Lena (HEDRICK) NEAL. She died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, in Tulsa. Survivors include her husband, Ricky, of the home; one daughter, Cynthia " Shirley Ann" and her husband, Jess; four sons, David, John, Larry and Duane and his wife, Carrie; her close friend, Mary; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

He married Mildred Pauline JONES on Oct. 11, 1951, Tucumcari, N.M. Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. TURNER was born Sept. 29, 1938, in Cushing, to Homer TURNER and Orene (JOHNSON) TURNER. He died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, in Vinton, La. He married Rosa SUAREZ, Nov. 25, 1982, in Newton, Kan.  Survivors include his wife, Rosa TURNER of the home; four daughters, Terrie, Sylvia and Carmen; one son, Sheldon; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jerry.

Survivors include three sons, Gary and wife Shirley, Lary and wife De Ann, and Dwayne and wife Linda; four grandsons; two granddaughters; one sister-in-law, Jean and husband Frank; eight great-grandchildren; nephew; niece; one cousin; friend, Florence; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers who died in infancy, one brother, Lindsey, one granddaughter Kelly Dawn CARVER and his wife of 66 years, Eura.

He married Wilma Louise BAGLEY, Nov. 10, 1948, in Fort Smith.  Survivors include his wife, Wilma FAULKNER of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Fred Joe; one son and daughter-in-law, Jack Lawrence and Judith LaFern; two sisters, Helen and Peggy; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ellen GILLAM.

He married Rachel Marie BRAZIER, Oct. 6, 1956, in Texas. Burial is in the Byron-Amorite Cemetery, under the direction of Goodwin Funeral Home of Cherokee. Mr. CODAY was born Jan. 21, 1927, in Locust Grove, to Claud William and Josie (DORSEY) CODAY. He died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, in Kiowa, Kan. Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann; three daughters, Claudette, Beverly and her husband, Rick, and Melissia and her husband, Justin; one son, R.L. and Tricia; seven grand-children; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, a brother and one nephew.

Funeral services for Letha Fern EYMER, 71, of Vian were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Oakridge Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw. The Rev. Gary Mullen officiated. Burial was in the Sanders Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. EYMER was born on Dec. 4, 1935, in Chandler, Ariz. to George Washington Brewer and Lula (BAILEY) BREWER. She died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Harry D. EYMER on June 16, 1956, in Reno, Nev. He preceded her in death Oct. 13, 1985, in Muskogee. Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Jo Ann and Eddie, and Jerrie Lee, Billie and Ronnie, and Judy and Bob; one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and JoAnna; mother, Lula BREWER; one sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Fred; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Margaret, John and Marilyn, and Terry and Donna; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her father and her first husband Harold SCOTT. Pallbearers were her grandsons.

Burial for Mamie M. KIRK, 93, of Muldrow, will be held at a later date in California, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. KIRK died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, in Fort Smith. Mrs. KIRK was a retired apartment complex manager. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ann and her husband, James C., and Peggie Ann and her husband, William L.; one sister, Sybil; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John Esta KIRK and a daughter Micki WIZAR.

Burial was in Box Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. THOMPSON was born Aug. 7, 1929, in Caddo County, to Howard Leon McCOMBS and Lillie Bell (JARVIS) McCOMBS. She died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, in Vian. She married LeRoy David THOMPSON, June 21, 1949, in Newton, Kan. He preceded her in death, Jan. 9, 1990, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include two daughters, Vendette, and Elma Jean; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Leeroy and one sister, Dolly.

He died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, in Muldrow. He married Cheryl THEREAN, March 8, 1991, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl DARDEN of the home; one son, Jeremiah; two daughters, Shannan and Sherry; three step-daughters, Trisha, Janice and Amanda; one step-son, Paul; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, James PIKE of Fort Smith; and several other family and friends. Mr. JEFFRIES died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, in Fort Smith. Mrs. PATCHIN was born April 27, 1925, in Texas, to Charlie McKINLEY and Annie McKINLEY. She died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Lawrence PATCHIN, in 1945. He preceded her in death.
