| Albert Ross Wilson died in 1915 of a kidney ailment. He is buried in the Garden of Memories cemetery in Vian. Ida died of TB in 1924 in Albuquerque, NM in a TB clinic. Her body was brought back to Vian and she too is buried in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian. Now my Uncle Elmer B. told me that after Albert died one of his brothers died shortly thereafter and the family asked if he could be buried in the plot next to Albert. Ida, thinking it would be many many years before she died gave up her spot next to Albert, not realizing in 9 years she would be dead as well. This story doesn't coincide with the dates I have. Unfortunately I can't get there to check out who is buried next to Albert. If there is anyone willing to take pictures of tombstones for me in this cemetery, I would glady pay for their time and expenses. I live all the way out in California. Also, the day after Albert died his spinster sister, Mary Frances "Fannie" Wilson died. They say she was so distraught when she heard he died, she took to her bed and died the next day, September 30, 1915. |
