"Complete Domestic Bible" was presented to J.F. Jordon by the Church. The following is all the information written in the Bible:
This Certified that "J.G. Jordon" and "Isabella Mekiny" were solemnly united by me in the Hold Bonds of Matrimony at "her Fathers state of Kentucky" on the "thirtyeth" day of "January" in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and "sixety-eight" conformably to the Ordinance of God, and the Laws of the state.
