Had 7 known children: Agatha (Joe Thivierge), Francis (Frank), James Denis (Elizabeth Brown), Laura (Jack Murchison), William, Michael b 1883 & May b. 1885. Lived and farmed in Shelburne area. Have been unable to discover anything about what happened to this couple or their descendants.

Thomas b. 1831 from Ireland, m. Elizabeth Madill in scarborough, 12 children, James,Esther, Elizabeth, Thomas Jr., David, Margaret, Mary Ellen, Martha, William, Charles, Sarah, Jemina. These people moved to Emo, Ontario in approx. 1885 with the Reid family from Amaranth area. Not much information on Jemima, or Charles. Sarah married James Mitchell, William married Lottie ?? and moved to Detroit. Martha m. Walter Simpson, daughter Mary who marr. Ralph Bernie. Any assistance or contacts would be appreciated.

May 8th, 1845 bought w1/2 Lot 14, Con.2 (3rd line) for muzzle loader and $50.00. Feb. 17th 1873 bought from the crown E1/2 Lot 14, Con. 3 Amaranth which is still in the family name. He had 3 wives, Hannah Amy Lea who came with him from England (4 children - 3 to maturity), Jane McBride (8 children and my great grandmother) and Jane Carson (no children).
