St. Lawrence Anglican Church Cemetery

The St. Lawrence United Church and the cemetery were built on property owned by the BAMFORD family.

This church and cemetery are located abt a few hundred feet from the St. Lawrence River. It is not far from the foot (or end) of the Island, therefore it's sometimes referred to as the Foot Church or the Foot Cemetery

The cemetery is probably older than the Church. No burial records have been found. Many are buried here with no marker. Some are the pioneer settlers and a few are United Empire Loyalists.

The cemetery is well kept.
