How the Scots Invented Canada by Ken McGoogan, recently released does not specifically index Glengarry County however a few Glengarry related characters such as Willim McGillivray, Simon Fraser, John Strachan, etc are referenced. You may be surprised at the Canadians named with Scottish roots - Pierre Elliott Trudeau, John Diefenbaker among others. I personally found an interesting read. Lords of the North by James K.
