DUNCAN J. CLARK
PASSES THURSDAY
Duncan John Clark passed away on Thursday afternoon at his home 615 8th Street East. Although deceased was in his 86th year, his death came suddenly after a brief illness. The late Mr. Clark had been a resident of this city for a quarter of a century and his passing will occasion deep sorrow amongst a wide circle of friends.

The late Mr. Clark was born in Scotland, the only child of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Clark. When he was about six years of age he came to Canada with his parents, the family settling in Bentinck Township, on the 7th concession. Mr. Clark continued to reside in Bentinck until moving to this city 25 years ago.

The late Mr. Clark was united in marriage about 55 years ago to Maria Redford, who predeceased him in October, 1944. Surviving to mourn his passing he leaves a son, John Leslie Clark, and a daughter, Miss Margaret Clark, both of whom made their home with their father.

In religion deceased was a Presbyterian, a member of St. Andrew's Church here.
