MEAFORD EXPRESS (Nov. 1934) -- While on a visit to her sister in Lockport, N.Y., death came suddenly to Agnes Anne Lloyd, wife of the late Charles A. Farrar, Monday morning, November 12th. Born in Meaford, Mrs. Farrar had spent all her long life as a resident of the town and was in her 79th year. Only a couple of weeks ago, she had gone to visit her sister, Mrs. Ernest Gifford, in Lockport, and although she had not been in the best of health for some years, her death came as a severe shock to her friends.
Mrs. Farrar was predeceased by her husband and one daughter, Olive, a sister, Mrs. Wm. Jamison, who had resided with her, passed away in February last. One sister, Mrs. Ernest Gifford, survives.
The late Mrs. Farrar is resting at her home, Marshall street, and the funeral service will be held there today, (Thursday) at 2:30 p.m., with interment taking place at Lakeview cemetery. Rev. Sidney Martin, pastor of Trinity United Church, of which she was a member, will have charge of the service.
